Az írek furcsán étkeznek, elképesztő mennyiségű cukorkát és édességet lehet kapni, viszont a főtt ételeik rendszrint savanyúak. Vettünk édes-savanyú mártást, ami kinézetre olyan, mint az otthoni, még a márka is, de az íze ecetesebb, a bolognai szósz szintén zenész. Salátához vettünk ecetet 5%-os ecetet lehet kapni és annak is tejesen más íze van, mint otthon. Már látom, hogy mit fogok hiányolni kajafronton a legjobban! Anyukám isteni baracklekvárját és úgy általában a barackos cuccokat. Pl. otthon imádtam a Lidl-ből a Solevita barack gyümölcslevet. Itt is van Lidl, sőt még Solevita márka is, de baracklé nincs, csak narancs és alma. A lidl tök érdekes, ugyanazokkal a márkanevekkel találkozni, mint otthon, de teljesen mások a termékek:) Ha bemegyünk egy dunnes store-ba, ami úgy néz ki a fő bevásárló helyünk lesz, alig van olyan márka, amit ismernénk. Nagyon sok élelmiszer van Belgiumból és a franciáktól. Zöldség és gyümölcskínálat nagyon széles, olyan fajta káposztákat, salátákat látok, amiről nem is tudtam, hogy létezik. Ja és nem mellesleg nagyon olcsó. Fél kiló gombát vettünk 0,49 centért. Az élelmiszer általában olcsóbb, mint Magyarországon, a hús jelentősen olcsóbb és sokkal jobb minőségű. Igazából mindenről elmondható, hogy olcsóbb, a háztartási gépek kb 20%-al olcsóbbak, a csoki sokkal olcsóbb. Pl 9 db sickers-t vettünk 1,5 euroért. Az alpro kókusz-mandula italom 2 euroba kerül. Jó minőségűek az alapanyagok, egy ebédet, amiből végül 2 x ettünk 4 euróból kihozok. 

A sajtok nagyon finomak. Ami nálunk a trappista az itt a cheddar. Mindenhol ezt lehet venni, van belőle fehér és vörös változat. Én a vörös változatot részesítem előnyben, ez szinte narancssárga színű, kemény sajt, de mégis olvad a szájban. 

5 féle coca-colát árulnak. Van a rendes hagyományos. Van a diet coke, még nem tudom, hogy mitől diet. Van a zero. Van a cherry coke, aminek teljesen más az íze, egyébként szerintem finomabb, mert tényleg cseresznyés és van a zöld coke life, ami pedig édesítőszerrel készült. Ez elég furcsán néz ki:) szerintem ez felel meg a light-nak.

Amin pedig megdöbbentem, hogy a ruha nagyon olcsó egy nadrág 5-15 euro között mozog, pulcsi szintén, kabátot 15 eurótól lehet venni. Ágyneműt vettünk dupla takarót 2 párnával 16 euroért! Memóriahabos párnát, pedig 8,5 euroért. Amit otthon vegán tusfürdőként 800 Ft-ért árulnak, az itt az egyik legáltalánosabb tusfürdő és 1,49 euroért kapható.

Ami eszméletlenül drága és a magyar árak többszörösébe kerül az az albérlet és az utazás. Nekünk csak áramot kell fizetni, mert minden elektromos. Írországban idén vezették be a vízdíjat, eddig ingyen volt a víz, nagyon sokan nem is fizetik egyébként. Csatornadíj nincs. 

Szóval hogyha látogatóba jöttök, akkor visszafelére kell csak böröndöt fizetni a repülőre, mert indulhat a bevásárlás!

The way the Irish people eat is very strange. You can buy every kind of sweet things, but the main dishes are most of the time sour. They use vinegar for everything. For example: we bought sweet and sour sous, which looked like one from home, even the brand was familiar, but the taste was more sour, you could taste the vinegar in it. We bought vinegar for salad, what you can buy is 5% strong, but with another taste. I have already seen what I will miss from home taste! That is the peachjam from my mom's kitchen! And as I see all kind of peach realated procuts. I loved the  Solevita peach nectar from Lidl in Hungary. Lidl can be found here also, even the Solevita brand is exixt, but they only sell orange and apple juice. Anyway the lidl is very strange, you find all the familiar brands, but the products are different. If we go for shopping to the dunnes store - which will be our basic for foodsource, there are not so many brands what I know. They import a lof of food from Belgium and France. Wide range of vegetables and fruits, a kind of salad and cabbage what I have never seen before. And they are very cheap! We bought half kilo of mushroom for 0,49 euro. The food is cheaper then in Hungary in general, and the quality is much better! The meat is very good quality and much cheaper then at home. Almost everythink is cheaper here. For household devices are about 20% cheaper then in Hungary. The chocolate is much more cheaper, for example 9 piece of Sickers cost 1,5 euro. My alpro coconut-mandel drink is 2 euro. I m able to cook a lunch, from we basicly ate two times from 4 euros. 

The cheeses are very tasty. What is in hungary the trappista here is the cheddar. You can buy that everywhere. There is white and red cheddar cheese. I usually buy the red, the colour of that is almost orange. This is a hard cheese, but melting in your mouth. 

There are 5 kinds of Coke. One is the normal usual one. Next is the diet coke, I dont know exatly why it is diet. Next is cherry coke, which has another taste, it is tastier with a real cherry taste. Next is the zero- it is the same, we have. And the last one is a green kind, they call it coka cola life, as I know it is made with sweeteners . (Picture above.)

I was shocked how cheap are the clothes here. A pair of tousars cost 5-15 euro, pullover also, you can buy a jacket from 15 euro. We bought our king size duvet with 2 pillows for 16 euros, and the memory pillow for 8,5 euros. The vegan shower gel what costs in Hungary around 800 Huf, here that is a common shower gel for 1,49 euro. 

The rent is extremely expensive, and also the public transport. We only have to pay for the electricity, cos everything in the flat is based on that. In Ireland you only have to pay for the water from this year. Most of the citizens do not pay it. There is no fee for the channel. 

 So if you come to visit us, you need a luggage only the way back on the plain. So let's go shopping!
